2014 Outstanding Student Scholarship Recipient – Brandi Leah Guess

 brandi_guess The Mississippi Radiological Society awarded the Outstanding Student of the Year Scholarship to Brandi Leah Guess, a student the in Diagnostic Medical Sonography program at Hinds Community College in Jackson, MS. Brandi is a President’s List scholar who has maintained a 4.0 GPA while enrolled in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program at Hinds Community College. Brandi served as the DMS representative for the Association of Student Government on the Nursing /Allied Health Campus, and has been actively involved in community service programs.

In 2013 Brandi received the 3E Award for Excellence, was Senior Class Vice-President, and Valedictorian of 2013 graduating class of the Hinds Community College Radiology Technology program. Brandi was selected from a group of 63 applicants who applied for one of the ten available spots for the Hinds Diagnostic Medical Sonography program in 2013. Brandi lives in Florence, MS, with her daughter, Alissa Claire.
