The winner of the 2022 Superior Student in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) is
Robin Melissa Wiley. This award is given to a Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program student that demonstrates high academic achievement, exemplary accomplishments in the clinical setting, is of sound moral character, and exhibits an inspiring presence that motivates and impacts others.

Robin Melissa Wiley is a dependable, conscientious, hard-working student. Robin is a
Dean’s List Scholar who has maintained a 3.85 GPA while she has been enrolled at Hinds
Community College. Robin is a single mom who exemplifies time management. She is always on time, prepared, and eager to learn. Robin has participated in numerous community service projects and recruiting events for the Nursing and Allied Health Campus of Hinds. Robin has participated in multiple fund raising projects that will enable her class to attend a Sonography Board Review for the ARDMS Abdomen Certification Exam.

Robin Wiley represents all that Hinds Community College could hope for in a student.
She is dedicated to gaining the knowledge and skills that will enable her to provide the highest quality of care to her patients. I have enjoyed having Robin as a student, and I am certain she will be an asset to her family, her profession, her community, and ultimately her patients.
