The Hillman Fellowship provides a concentrated, two-week experience in medical editing, journalism, and publishing for a qualified staff radiologist or radiologist-in-training to inspire them to pursue medical journalism in their careers. The selected fellow will travel to ACR headquarters in Reston, VA, to receive editing and publishing experience with the Journal of the American College of
Radiology (JACR®). The fellow will also travel to New York City to spend time with JACR publisher, Elsevier.
Applications are due no later than Sept. 30, 2018.

Congrats to Katelyn Donn Hughes of Okolona, a 2018 graduate of Itawamba Community College. She has been selected as the recipient of the Mississippi Radiological Society Scholarship for Outstanding Radiologic Technology student.
Hughes, who received ICC’s Radiologic Technology award at the College’s Evening of Celebration: Honoring Academic Excellence Across the Curriculum, had the highest GPA for Radiologic Technology courses. She is the daughter of Matt and Kallie Hughes.
Criteria for selection for the MRS scholarship include high academic achievement, sound moral character and financial need.
